This gem of a book is a great read for young girls. "All-Of-A-Kind Family" by Sydney Taylor tells the story of five sisters living at the turn of the twentieth century. A real delight, sure to keep the interest of any little girl.

Have you ever experienced the "amusing- agony" of a child refusing to take a bath? Did you wish there were some book out there in the literary universe that you could read to that child and turn the icky situation around? Well lucky for you, there is. "No Baths For Tabitha" by Sharon K. Thomas and Marjorie Siegal is the best book for such a dilemma. As a child I adored this book and carried it around all the time until I lost it. Sadly, this book is out of print, but you can still share a video of it being read on YouTube with the little ones in your life.

Jamaica finds a stuffed dog at the playground and after taking him home without trying to find the owner discovers her conscience as well. Jamaica's honest and appealing character inspired five more books, each about a childhood ethical dilemma. A great Reading Rainbow book, be sure to pick up "Jamaica's Find" by Juanita Havill.
